Here we go again!

Mount Rainier

We spent today at Mount Rainier National Park, a 2-hr drive from Seattle. We started the day with a hike from "Sunrise" that was really beautiful. The weather was perfect - clear and cool. We had sandwiches for lunch at the Palisades and then did another, shorter hike at "Paradise". Our last stop was "Reflection Lake" (extra). We saw lots of alpine flowers, butterflies and three marmots. J took a great video of one of them, who posed very happily for us. We had nepalese food for dinner, just outside the park. On the drive back, we learned that R has a playlist that overlaps significantly with J's and that the GPS's directions can mix really well with Bohemian Rhapsody. R was the hero of the trip today... not only did he do all of the driving, he also carried snacks and water for us on the hikes. We continue to feel very spoiled and lucky to be able to be all together for this trip!
