Supermoon
As a break from the wet room works, I read that tonight was the best for the latest super moon.
The day had been hot and still for Edinburgh, reaching nearly 30oC. It turned into a beautiful summer evening with a warm wind.
So we went up Blackford Hill which was very busy with people wandering around. Right on cue at 21:36 the moon rose. It did look big and with an orange hue. This view shows Liberton Tower in the foreground (see blip of 25 March 2018 for more details).
