A bit of a last minute decision saw me and Aaron heading down to the Meadow for tonight's game. A good last minute decision as it turned out for a thoroughly entertaining game with a couple of cracking goals -why do freekicks always look better when they go in off the frame of the goal? This was Dan Udoh posing for pictures and autographs before kick off.

Carlisle constantly looked dangerous on the break and took the lead before Shrews equalised with said freekick just before half time. Shrews came out with much more intensity and better play in the second half and took the lead via this man with 15 minutes to go. Carlisle then equalised and it looked like we might get penalties until Chey Dunkley scored a third 5 minutes from the end.

T-shirt and shorts weather, and a five goal thriller...if only all matches were like this.
