Police hat!

So today I went to church in the morning then in the afternoon I went to Hughenden House with my dad , as my mum is on a course!

Hughenden is really historical and has a basement which was used in the war for secret mapping. We were allowed to go down to the cellar and look around and I found this old police helmet in the underground shelter!

Whilst looking around the house we met two old men who told us a lot about the war and what the shelters were like!

On the way home Dad and I had to stop the car as the road was blocked with a herd of cows crossing it-they took ages to walk across it!
