Resident Evil 8: Village

Brian D’Oliveira and Aga Ujma - Yearning For Dark Shadows

…and I’ve started Resident Evil 8. Oh man, it’s a lot of fun, and a little scary. Resident Evil 7 was the first game I bought on my PS4 and totally loved it. I’m a horror movie fan, particularly the films the game was referring to. Number 8 is bigger and better in some ways. I prefer the intimacy of 7, I felt on edge the whole time, whereas 8 has a lot more action and is bigger. No complaints here, I just wanted more of the same with a bit of Resident Evil 4 and it delivered.

Since 7 I’ve gone back into Resident Evil (the latest ones anyway) and really enjoy it’s schtick. Nice level of difficulty, fun rewards and a lot of scares. It’s a winning formula. Can’t say much for the films or TV series, but the games are a tonne of fun.
