Kalymaro Ski Museum

I was going to spin a story about these skis being those worn by Sir Ernest Shackleton on his Antarctic expedition in 1907 but a blipper might have seen the authentic item in a museum somewhere.
These have been on the wall of the lodge as long as I’ve been coming here (about 35 years) but nobody seems to know where they came from. I think it’s fair to say Sir Ernest would have worn similar boots and skis.
