Unexpected outing

I lasted 45 minutes in work this morning.
After developing a bit of a cough on Wednesday, Owen was complaining that his tummy hurt yesterday so I stated at home with him but he seemed much brighter this morning so went to nursery as normal. At 9:45, I got a phone call to say he wasn't feeling himself and could I pick him up. Home by lunchtime and he started spiking a temperature but it was the being sick in the evening and not getting his temperature back down that made us take him to PRH to get checked out.

They made the decision at about half past 1 to keep him in overnight, so I had to leave him and Louisa and head home ready for an early trip back in the morning.
