I grew some leeks from seed last year and planted them out to grow on over winter. I kept waiting for them to thicken up but before they got around to doing that, they bolted, I left them to see what would happen and this is the outcome.

Another trip over the hill to the vet this afternoon so that Bertie could get checked over after his recent tummy and eye problems. I’m very pleased to say that all is well and that he was able to have his annual booster. I hope it  will be a while before we have to go that way again as it is a very bendy, bumpy road and the wee fellow was sick four times as a result.
