Balancing Act

“ I bet you can’t do this without falling off the log!”

Heron and duck were enjoying the sun when we called in at Ham Wall nature reserve with Sophie this afternoon. We’d collected her for a sleepover while Kate is at a friend’s wedding tonight.

She enjoyed the Nature Detective trail the RSPB have put on for the summer holidays and it gave me a chance to try out the optical zoom on the new camera. The main blip was taken with the aid of a tripod. The extra, for comparison, was hand held.

This morning Tess & I had a weeding binge on the patio.
