Saltford Locks
The usual crazy busy day in the madhouse, but I did have an hour’s respite at lunchtime when a friend kindly drove me to the post office then down to the River Avon for a belated birthday drink (I ended up paying for the drinks, she does it every year!). Sitting in the shade by the locks, with a cooling breeze coming off the water was wonderful, even if only for an hour. Then it was back to the madness and 30 degrees this afternoon. This evening I was so tired that I fell out of the back door and cut my leg and wrist. What a numpty!
Thank you so much for all your kind words, stars and hearts for mum and dad’s anniversary blip yesterday, they meant a lot to them.
