Fell Ponies

Out this morning with Clickychick and her clients.  The other day there wasn't a sign of the ponies, not even a sign they still existed.  Today when we drove up there they were standing on a rise near the road.  Soon they walked down to the road and then followed the road.  Along came a car, the lead pony stopped still and just stared at the car.  The car did the same.  Eventually, the car realised the pony was going to win, so it very carefully and slowly drove off the road along the grass and back on.

Slowly the herd drifted on along and beside the road until it came to the ford in Monday's blip.  There they all stopped in the middle for a drink before walking on up the hill and out of sight.
