Life through the lens...

By ValC

In the shade.

As you can see our garden is split into two halves.
When the heatwaves arrive it is lovely to sit by the house in the shade.
I put the seat cover and cushions on the swing seat, but only sat there for 10 mins or so late afternoon, as you can see that is in bright sunlight.

We were up early as Mr C had an appointment at Pinderfields Hospital at 8.40am for another injection into his eye. Fortunately the M62 was running smoothly, and we were there in good time, and he was back out within an hour.

Called at Next, at Junction 27, to collect an order for our son, and back home before 10. 30. am.
Walked down to the village to pick up a prescription, and a bottle of wine from the CoOp. and then popped into a neighbour’s for coffee.
A relaxing afternoon doing very little.
Lunch and tea sat out in the garden.
Now such a beautiful evening but still 27C at 7.30pm. Feels like being on holiday!
