So much to see…

this morning, I could hardly walk! Just enjoying the sight and scent of the heather on the moor when along came an Osprey. It was hunting over the land as well as the lochans so gather it was a youngster. Had just finished watching it when a Hen Harrier contoured the land ,also hunting! Delighted, took a few more steps only to disturb a Hobby, with prey on the ground. It shot off! That’s all without mentioning the Snipe, Black Darters, Blue Damselflies and Scotch Argus butterflies! What a day!
It was scorching, the sky cloudless and  lovely!
