Field Poppy
I'm rather pleased with these fragile lovelies which have seemingly sprung up out of nowhere in the garden. Our normal poppies are big complicated compound things but these are the much more demure kind I used to see in the fields back in Ireland. Not quite sure where they came from though. Kirsi scattered some wildflower seeds but firstly it was last year and not this and secondly I do believe that she didn't scatter them in this exact location. A mystery but a lovely one.
