Across the churchyard

Down in the village today, and my route took me across the churchyard. Like everywhere else it is bone dry. Is that the right description for a burial ground? I wonder.
The charge for parking in the village has risen from £1 to £1.10. As I seldom use cash now, it has been difficult to save £1 coins for parking,. It is going to be more of a challenge to find 10p coins as well!
