Men at work

The whole road through our village is being resurfaced and has been shut 6 hours a day since last Tuesday with them due to finish this Friday.

And of course on the one day I needed to get out of the village in that 6 hour slot, they decide to do the bit right outside our lane!

Thankfully I heard them in time so had a mad dash to move the car to our neighbours before I got blocked in!  

However my actual departure was then timed perfectly with the arrival of the 2nd truck of tarmac! 

How they work in this heat let alone combined with the heat of the tarmac I have no idea - baking!!!
