All things dyed and beautiful

Arrived at church this morning to see that someone had made this flower arrangement.
The flowers are lovely,but why would anyone want to dye them this lurid shade of blue ? And why would you want to buy dyed flowers ?
Of course it's the thought that counts,and it was good of somebody to give them.
Maybe I'm wrong,and there really is a far-off land where the fields are a mass of dancing blue flowers. But I don't think there is.
