Blue sky and yellow rose.
The Feast Day of St. Lawrence.
It is a glorious start to the day, very close, 22c and a gentle breeze.
I have just done all the watering and the bedding plants are coping well in this dry spell. The young starlings, twittering on the roof tops, have been making their presence felt, flying about in small groups and looking for food no doubt. A beautiful white cat was sitting under the shade of a big fir tree, in someone's front garden, near a huge lavender bush.
This rose is from the Turrets Garden, a Council owned small green public space. The lawn area is mown but the benches are old and need painting or replacing. Our area received improvement funding so there is hope things will be maintained.
Have a lovely day blip friends, take care in the sun and thanks for visiting.
