Shield Bugs

The babiest of shield bugs on the silver birch catkin & a slightly bigger one on the leaf.

Amazing that in walking past trees can just spot them & other times I find none. There were some on the rowan berries too.

A bit of gardening then got too hot for me to be out back. Rested a bit of afternoon then an evening walk round the park & wee woodland.
