Knarled wood

Walk this afternoon leaving the dogs at home in the cool! Went to mount edgcumbe with my friend, Jane. First stop was the orangery for a latte, carrot cake and water sitting under an umbrella on the terrace! Then a walk up through the gardens to check out the geyser and the rose garden and then a short power walk along the front where we saw this old dead tree covered with Ivy! Lots of faces to see! The dogs were very pleased to see me when I got back which is always a plus!
