Swallowtail

We saw a Swallowtail up by the Croix de Javernne today. It took ages to get a photo as it was moving quite a lot trying to find a suitable flower to rest on.

The whole family had an early morning swim at Frience followed by a walk to the Croix de Javernne and the Refuge at La Tourche for a drink. Although not everyone could fit in the car, everyone had a turn on the ebikes so we were able to get people where they wanted to be.

The extra shows the area where we were walking and an Emperor Moth Caterpillar (I think).
