The accidental finding

Pear tree and house, Lower Street

Another extremely hot day. I was in the office with two fans whirring, and the door open when I wasn't actually making calls. My head was away with the fairies when I came in, wondered if I'd even remember my passwords or how to open a laptop after four days at a festival, but I came to slowly, and by the time of had my group supervision online I was fully with it.

Lunch was eaten under a large tree in the car park. This was followed by a stifling afternoon in the office, and a walk home through the deserted town. The distant cry of seagulls made me wonder whether I was on holiday somewhere else. How had I got there?

The house in my blip is one that various people I know, or knew, have inhabited. A former boss from my publishing days was amongst them. She died two years ago. Now the house is up for sale, yet again. The latest occupants had young children..I wonder where they're going?
