We went out for a walk along the canal to Grappenhall. From there we headed to Grappenhall Heys and the walled garden. Due to problems with the tendering process work on the restoration of the greenhouses has been delayed and now will not start until summer.

The rest of the gardens were looking in great condition and are a credit to the gardener and his team of volunteers who tend this wonderful space.
