Shakespeare's Garden
Known as New Place, this the garden on the site of the house and land that Shakespeare purchased in the centre of Stratford-Upon-Avon. For Shakespeare it was effectively a smallholding for his extended family with space for an orchard, vegetable and herb gardens and keeping some animals. Like most places, the garden was showing signs of the lack of rain.
