Drying out

This cosmos has flowered for a few days and is now obviously suffering from lack of water.

It has been very hot here again today , the day on which we had to move a single bed from upstairs to the garage down our winding stairs.  It will be collected on Thursday so we can continue the sewing room transformation.

I continue to be amazed at the amount of sweat a human body can produce...
