Portobello Beach Edinburgh Day 242

This sign appeared at the end of last summer replacing the one proclaiming "No Cycling". The latter had become unenforceable - proving that if you cannot beat them : join them! The prom is now officially part of Edinburgh's cycle network and yesterday I cycled into Leith and back to try it out.
The wee seagull motif is not part of the sign and is one of a number of mysterious postings along The Prom in recent months. Their anonymous appearance has even prompted a piece in Edinburgh's Evening News. Maybe some well informed Blipper will know the answer to who and why these gulls flock secretly to Porty Prom?
