The Huntsman
Had a lovely day today. Miles was in a great mood and had his cheeky smile on for a lot of the day, which always puts me in a good mood. Gina, Miles and I went to what must really be our favourite brunch spot, 15 pounds, and had a cracking breakfast. I'll undoubtedly blip 15 pounds in the future, we make it there most weeks (even if it's only for their amazing coffee!).
I managed to squeeze a nap in this afternoon, which felt like a real luxury, then polished off some work (yuck) before hearing over to our friends Dan and Monique's place for dinner. There were a group of us, all in various states of parenthood (from pregnant with the first to 2 and a half years old), and it was great to have a catch up. I took a few photos, but it wasn't really what the evening was about so I'll not blip them. Came home and noticed that my friend the huntsman was still lurking around. I did my awkward standing on a chair in the dark, with my camera on live view in one hand and my mobile phone light in the other, stretching up to try and get the shot. I took about 30 blurry shots (not much depth of field at f/2.0!) and about 5 that were ok. I apologise to the arachnophobics around, but I was running low on blip inspiration!
Late night Monday striking again tomorrow... but the last one for a while. I'll see whether I can get something interesting for you.
