Dribs and Drabs of 2014

By RodgerEvans01

Sort of sounds like a medical condition...

One of the slopes along the driveway is covered with Siberian Squill (Scilla siberica). Beautiful little, pendulous, blue flowers that seems to rule the garden, but quickly pass as other plants shade them out. They produce an abundance of seed as they seem to have spread quite well over the past few years since a major driveway/garden renovation. I'm not so worried about their "invasiveness" due to the fact that they die back so quickly.
