Light & Shade with some Reflections

I had some plans for this weekend. None eventuated. Chief amongst them was a couple of paintings I was supposed to have done and shipped to Melbourne by Tuesday for an exhibition in June. Nothing even started, so that is not going to happen.
There were some high hopes of trying a bit of long exposure photography; again that didn't happen. Another item on the agenda was trying out the remote for the camera on something and it was close to being a sp but I crossed that of the list even as I wrote in down. There was something else but it escapes me, lucky for it.

Todays blip may look ok if you press the L on your keyboard. Closing the browser also works well :)

I must thank those who commented on my blip yesterday. I am very appreciative of your kind words and encouragement. Thank you all who visit and many thanks to those who take the time to post comments. I find it very easy to be a harsh critic of myself and my work (of all kinds) and I find it very hard to accept a compliment and very easy to dismiss kind remarks about my work with a "What would you know" reply. It is because of this behaviour among others which form some of the reasons I joined blip. It helps me to try and deal with some of my 'issues' in regards to these and some other things which I wont mention. Anyway, having slept on it I was reminded of Denis Diderot's quote from Salon of 1765 of Jean Baptiste-Siméon's remarks:

Gentleman, be kind. Off all the paintings which are here, seek out the worst, and remember that two thousand unfortunates have bitten their brushes in two, despairing of even doing so badly...

I had also considered this one for todays blip.
