Sculptor Leigh Dyer created this stainless steel cross, which is mounted on the refitted St Nicholas’s church at Pett Level in Sussex.

It’s quite baffling to see it as wood and feel it as metal.
His fabulous work can be seen around Hastings and on the beach at St Leonard’s.
