…before the people started gathering for the annual open air service.

We were lucky with the weather, dry and a wee bit breezy which helped keep the midges away.

This was a place that the Covenanters would meet and a service is held here annually on the first Sunday in August.

Grateful for a wee jaunt up the Carron Valley.
