Sandringham House
Monday 8th August 2022
We went out with my sister-in-law to Sandringham this morning. It was a lovely walk around the gardens but it was looking so dry and the flowers were withered, as so many places have experienced. There was a lovely display of 2500 ceramic butterflies, supporting the local hospice. After a full circuit of the garden, stopping for a drink at the stables, we went into St Mary Magdalene Church and then finished with lunch at the restaurant.
Later in the afternoon I went out for a photography walk on Roydon Common. The heather was a lovely display of colour. I made friends with the grasshopper in the extras.
