Seeds

Looking like Halloween cobwebs, masses of thistle seeds on the edge of the golf course on the way home from football. This week I was all about defending for a change. We had uneven numbers and after a brief turn with the extra man, G swapped sides and we played the rest of the game as 6v7. We were four up at the change and played a canny defensive game, scoring on the break to pull further ahead and were still five up at the end. I found myself playing more in midfield than usual - a bit too warm to get caught out of position up the pitch. Did manage a few decent assists, even if I didn't score myself.
