Maybe this will be the year...
These are the leaves of a supposed "Dragon" Arum. I planted three bulbs over five years ago. The leaves usually get removed during raking, and I have never seen flowers. This year's extended late winter/early spring means the leaves weren't removed, as they hadn't progressed much. I guess that's one upside to an extended, cool, dreary, early spring - things seem to last longer in the garden. As evidenced by the still blooming snow drops in the background. OK, that's really the only upside to the crap-tacular weather we've been having...
