706 02 - we are the industrial

The truth is that my city is known as an industrial centre.

past the velvet revolution Ostrava went through the painful process of privatization (more people came to be an unemployment).

At that moment we have a two big steel industry centres in my city.
One is MITTAL STEEL which is owned by Lakshmi Mittal (one of the biggest emmiters in the region too) and another one is VITKOVICE. Divided in three parts - two is owned by Czech firms VITKOVICE, ZELEZARNY TRINEC and the third one is owned by Russian metal giant EVRAZ.
