Another quiet day to recharge after the intensity of a trip away. 

The local meadows were fairly lively, including a couple of deer.

With the butterflies there are good numbers of Holly Blue, Peacock, Comma. Meadow Brown numbers seem to have picked up again but Ringlet have more or less finished now - just a couple of those today. Gatekeeper numbers are down after their boom few weeks. No Small Tortoiseshell or Red Admiral today. There were quite of few whites (Large, Small, Green-veined) and as I don’t often catch up with a Large White at rest, so here is one nectaring on Knapweed as my blip for the day.
