Expecting

We are great with pumpkin! Well, the compost heap is. Approx softball size at the moment, but growing at great speed (much faster than the squash plants). I sent a pic of it to S in the hope of cheering her up as she's in hospital awaiting brain surgery.  :-(

My visit to the allotment was accompanied by the soundtrack of drunken voices singing 'Hail, hail...' and other old favourites. Had to be a game of fitba' on at Easter Road - the voices were the pre-match warm-up, probably coming from the Tor pub on Restalrig Rd. I'm so out of it that I hadn't realised the Pars were playing in Edinburgh (Meadowbank) yesterday.....and they won! Amazing.

Another long day's work on the island for D. We're both completely knackered by his 'temporary' schedule.
