The New House(s)

We were up here to celebrate Claire's daughter Louise's marriage to Anton, which happened yesterday.
However, Claire is moving up to be nearer her daughter so we were also able to go and see her new house, which was very exciting.  She doesn't have keys yet so we could only look at the outside but we peered through windows. This is the back of the main house, facing south. There are actually two houses, and four other buildings on the property so Claire is getting a lot of roofs for her money. As well as the main house and a similarly sized extra house there is a one-roomed sleeping chalet (seen in this picture), a big barn that will double as a garage, a building that includes storage area and a sauna, and a woodshed.  She likes a project and renovating this lot is a project, a number of projects, that will keep her busy in her life as a pensioner!!
