The Bay

What a walk! Would have been an ordinary but invigorating walk up to the top of the Bluff but, shortly after I took this image, our house guest Coby took after a rabbit and was not seen again for 3/4s of an hour. Back and forth Ruby and I walked calling and whistling. It took a while to get really worried because she has a habit of tearing off on her own for a while.

Twice Ruby took me to the same spot near the edge of a cliff and I was becoming more and more convinced that Coby had gone over the edge. Just as I was deciding to the abandon the search, as I didn't want to be up there in the dark, Ms Coby came sauntering up grinning and wagging her tail. I was so very pleased to see her that I didn't strangle her as I thought I might should she reappear. Just so grateful that I didn't have to tell Val that I'd lost her dog.
