Summer concert

Finally a live concert! The last one we had booked was cancelled at the last minute due to the usual reasons. This one was the finale of the Lakeland Summer Music festival, and was a celebration of the Antarctic, not so summery but very fine performances including the evocative Vaughan Williams Sinfonia Antartica with a brilliant solo voice.
It was great to hear a live performance, even with the inevitable coughs and noises off, it’s so very immediate.
Just hoping now that I don’t come down with a bug!
Gilly’s birthday today, we had a quick zoom call to watch her opening a few presents with Wendy in the background definitely photobombing! A very happy birthday Gilly xxx
