Jubilee Picnic in the Community Garden

The final village Jubilee celebration back in June was to have been a community picnic on the Sunday afternoon, but in view of the weather forecast then it was postponed until today. The weather was perfect, warm and sunny but not too hot, and it was lovely to see so many families sitting around enjoying the music and the lovely (if rather parched) Community Garden. There was a cake stall too - selling beautiful homemade cakes by the slice - so I bought some and took them home for my tea - naughty but nice!
