Roar!

We did the local 5km walk in memory of Tom Parker from the band The Wanted today who lived locally.

The walk finished in the memorial hall gardens with a family fun day event. Elsa from Frozen sang to open the party and L was entranced! Here are some dinosaurs which were one of the events to entertain the children (and grown ups).

We would have stayed longer but it was at this point that L was stung by a wasp. Poor thing was quite distressed. We whizzed her round to a local chemist who gave us some piriton, calpol and anthisan cream. We had already applied some ice. We headed home.

Wasp stings are so horrid aren’t they. L hasn’t experienced that sort of pain before - so different from teething or a scrape on the knee. Poor thing took a while to calm down but is much better this evening.
