FEAR FACTOR!!!

Identification - nephila pilipes, golden orb web weaver spider.

There was a scramble of activity to my left that caught my eye. It was a fairly large golden orb weaver, scrambling across her web, to intercept a most unfortunate hopper.

Lots of good blip material today, but I kept being drawn to this image. I couldn't figure out why until I zoomed in closer and realized that it was the scramble of legs. So I decided to crop in and go for the FEAR FACTOR!!!
