Just an Ordinary Day in the Calder Valley

SUNDAY

I was out of the door for 08:00 am and headed over to Hebden Bridge and Todmorden to watch some of the historic vehicles passing through the Calder Valley.

It was day two of the Vintage Weekend at Hebden Bridge and lots of classic and vintage cars were heading towards the event at Calder Holmes Park. 

It was also the Historic Commercial Vehicle Society's Annual Transpennine Run from Birch Services on the M62 to The Stray in Harrogate.

I found a lay-by with a mobile cafe - an ideal place to watch the vehicles go by with a cooked breakfast sandwich and a cup of tea, indeed many of the drivers of the historic vehicles also stopped for refreshment.
