Change of plan

Mo and I had been in Edinburgh, getting my covid test and going through the pre-op questions and tests. 

The plan was that we'd go out to the Hard Rock Cafe for George's birthday. 

Unfortunately, when we got home I felt hot and cold and started shaking uncontrollably.  Straight back to the hospital, we then sat in A&E for hours, until I was admitted to the pre-operative ward at god-knows-o'clock in the morning.

Matt came with Mo and me, and was really supportive.
