Dereliction in the Upside Down

I passed this old light industrial dereliction the other day and with an eye to some clever stuff I saw on Camversation community message board I had a bit of a farknarkle. 

It's too hot to do much, today. If you recall the news-worthy heatwave of the other week, apart from one day of drizzle we're still in it. The reservoirs are dwindling, the hosepipe bans not yet sufficiently implemented, and the garden is a lovely greedy-brown colour.

I get the strangest impressions of variations of the Fisher King story, where the land is bewailing the loss of its leader's virility, and is slumping into wasteland and poverty.

I'm very pro unions, but perhaps the Kingdom one has had its day.
