Comes to North Berwick. Pack 2,500 happy drunk folk in a tent with a mega voice on stage, every song everyone knows… makes for the BEST night.
And what a voice. Sharleen Spiteri is a genius can honestly say one of the best, most intimate gigs I’ve ever been to and she carried the whole night. Forgotten how many hits they’ve had and finishing on a note perfect Elvis Suspicious Minds, fab bloody tastic. Everyone was cheesing, singing and having an amazing time. Even a solitary puffin… yes a PUFFIN… flew in towards the end, was helped onto the stage and cautiously carried by Spiteri off stage, you couldn’t make it up!
Being in the Big top tent helped ( last year at Lulu the sides were off and we had to all sit down and not dance)so what a contrast though there’s bound to be a few covid coughs in the next few days.
