Where I used to live

Today we didn’t leave as early as we’d hoped because mom wanted to walk to the post office with Doug and then Hailee and Eleanor came to visit with Kailyn.
We said hi then got on our way up to Livermore.
We stopped in old town first to have a wander and get some lunch then we drove past our old house. Looking good.
Unfortunately we didn’t have time to knock on Aunt Sandie’s door to see if she was in.
Then on to Brentwood for dinner at Cookie’s with Aunt Betty. :D
Such a lovely time but I often end up feeling as if I’m just the ‘little kid’!
I often wonder what life would have been like if we had never left. How would it have shaped me? What would I be like now?
Well….those are questions that will never be answered!
Enough to say, we had a lovely time reminiscing….well the others mostly….my memories are far fewer than theirs and often quite skewed. I was only 4 when we left.

Mom went to stay at Aunt Betty’s and the rest of us stayed with Cookie (and her very expressive dog, Cooper)!
