Fantail / Piwakawaka

This little one was flittering around above the track as I took the pups for their walk this afternoon. Only got 2 shots. According to "Reader's Digest - complete book of New Zealand Birds": The black phase occurs in 12 to 25% of South Island fantials, less than 1% of North Island fantails.
