Alfred Street, Stromness

Just a little work to be done and then I had a splendid 'rest of the day' off in Stromness.

Lunch at Julia's, then a walk through the town and out along the coastal footpath. There was hustle and bustle at the pier head, several coaches full of cruise ship passengers on a day trip, but further along the street was almost deserted.

A cup of tea and a piece of banana loaf with M was a fine end to the day.
